DESCRIPTION:A Via Feratta adventure unlike any other! This itinerary was developed with SMG by our partners at Holimites\, and their mountain guides who live and work in the Dolomites. This is a spectacular hut to hut journey with via ferrata along the route. Climb one of the high Dolomite peaks\, Monte Antelao and circumnavigate the town of Cortina D’Ampezzo. SUMMARY:Mt. Russell - East Ridge
DESCRIPTION:As Mt. Whitney’s neighbor Mt. Russell often gets overlooked\, but this granite giant has dozens of world-class routes to choose from.  The 3 we list here are arguably the best and are among the best in the range. Mt. Russell is a mountaineer’s peak with no easy routes to the summit\, but all of them are classic. \nThe scheduled dates here for the Fishhook Arête and the East Ridge are in a 3-day format\, with a minimum of 2 to run. Fishhook has a 2:1 maximum guiding ratio and East ridge has a 3:1 max ratio. We often climb these routes in 1 and 2 day formats\, with prior screening. DESCRIPTION:Climb Mount Whitney\, the highest peak in the 48 states\, by a classic technical rock climb from the East. Choose the East Face or the East Buttress. Which is better? Tough call and often debated. Climbing them both is the only way to know for sure! \nAccess to Mount Whitney is closely regulated and as a result we have limited first-come first-serve availability for mid-summer climbs. Whitney Trail\, this route features some real alpine rock climbing up to Class 4. \nAccess to Mount Whitney is closely regulated and as a result we have limited first-come first-serve availability for mid-summer climbs. After Labor day is also recommended for fewer other groups on the mountain. \n
